Stay in the Mission Valley
Lodges, motels, cabins, vacation rentals, and the RV parks at the lake.
The Mission Valley keeps a small but real bench of places to sleep. Lake-front cabins at the south end of Flathead Lake, family-run motels along Highway 93, and a few quiet rentals tucked under the Mission Range. Most book up in summer.

Staying in the valley
The Mission Valley does not have a Marriott or a Hilton. Lodging here leans local: lakeside resorts with their own docks, B&Bs in century-old houses, RV parks tied to state park access, and a few small motels that haven’t changed much since the 1970s.
Book early for July and August. If you’re chasing the Mission Mountains, St. Ignatius is the right base. If you’re after Flathead Lake, Polson or Big Arm.
