Mission Falls Campground
Camping at Mission Reservoir below the Mission Mountains
About the listing The place
Mission Falls Campground sits at Mission Reservoir in the foothills of the Mission Mountains east of St. Ignatius, with basic restroom facilities and room to picnic, swim, and camp before the hike up to Mission Falls. It’s on Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes land, so non-tribal visitors over age 11 need a CSKT Conservation License, available locally at Allard’s Stage Stop. Reach the area off Mission Reservoir Road a few miles north and east of town.
The campground sits below the wilderness boundary. The trail up to the falls crosses into the Mission Mountains Tribal Wilderness, where different regulations apply; the current Non-Member Regulations from CSKT Natural Resources cover both zones.
This spot reaches people deciding where to go in the Mission Valley. Want your business here?
