Saint Marys Lake Campground

Saint Marys Lake Campground is a primitive campground on Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes land in the Mission Mountains, reached by St. Marys Lake Road from St. Ignatius. Expect basic conditions, a vault toilet, fire rings, and no on-site water. It’s the base for the East St. Marys Peak trail. A CSKT Conservation License is required to camp and recreate here, available at vendors like Allard’s Stage Stop and online.

The campground sits in the Tribal Wilderness buffer zone, below the wilderness boundary; stricter regulations apply beyond it.
