Western Montana Area VI Agency on Aging covers Lake, Lincoln, Mineral, and Sanders counties, connecting older adults and their families with the programs that keep them independent. That means Information and Assistance for figuring out what’s actually available, a Long-Term Care Ombudsman if something’s wrong at a care facility, help enrolling in benefits, and property tax assistance for senior homeowners. Veterans get their own track through the Veteran Directed Care program.

There’s a social side too: free Tai Chi and Moving for Better Balance classes, Medicare 101 sessions, and access to GetSetUp’s library of 350-plus online classes.
