Walstad Fishing Access Site

Walstad is a day-use fishing access site on the west shore of Flathead Lake near Big Arm, run by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks. It’s a small spot, a couple of acres, with a concrete boat ramp, a floating dock, and an ADA-accessible latrine.

It’s open year round for boating and shore fishing, with the boat ramp built for trailers up to 30 feet. Anglers here pull whitefish out of the lake, and it’s one of the public access sites FWP keeps along Flathead Lake.
