Polson Shooters Association

The Polson Shooters Association runs a rifle and pistol range on Kerr Dam Road southwest of town, on land leased from Lake County. It’s an NRA-affiliated club that supplies targets, stands, and sandbags, and hunters around the Mission Valley use it to sight in before the season opens. The club also puts on NRA-sanctioned classes and events through the year.

You don’t have to be a member to shoot. The range is open to the public on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from noon to 5pm, March through Thanksgiving, with a $10 daily fee per shooter. Read the posted rules at the range office before you set up, and check the website if you’re interested in a membership or an upcoming class.
