Life Savers Animal Rescue

Life Savers Animal Rescue is a volunteer-run, foster-based dog rescue serving the Mission Valley and Lake County area. There’s no physical shelter; every animal is cared for in a local foster home until it’s adopted. The all-volunteer 501(c)(3) takes in strays, abandoned dogs, and owner surrenders, and also pulls dogs from overcrowded shelters out of state.

Adoptable dogs come spayed or neutered, vaccinated, wormed, and microchipped, and the group runs a low-cost spay and neuter certificate program for community pets. You can see available dogs and reach out about adopting, fostering, or donating through their website.
