Lake County Transfer Station

Lake County’s transfer station network is where Mission Valley residents drop off household garbage, recycling, and yard waste. The sites take Class II decomposable waste like household trash and small appliances, recyclables including cardboard, cans, motor oil, batteries, and tires, and Class III inert materials like untreated wood, concrete, and brush. Stations run seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and close on federal holidays. Call the Solid Waste Office at 406-883-7323 before hauling in bulky or special items.
