Lake County Solid Waste

Lake County’s Solid Waste Department handles garbage disposal and recycling for residents and businesses across the valley. The North Reservoir Road transfer station takes household garbage, and the county also runs a landfill on Kerr Dam Road, rural container sites, and recycling drop-offs. Disposal is billed through pay-as-you-throw, punch cards, or annual permit tags.
