Lake County Env Health & Plan

Lake County’s Environmental Health and Planning office handles the public health and land-use side of county government from the courthouse in Polson. Environmental Health covers septic and wastewater systems, private water, food service and public accommodation inspections, trailer courts and campgrounds, body art facilities, air quality, and the junk vehicle program, while Planning oversees subdivision review and land development. Residents can call ahead for permits, inspections, septic records, or to file a complaint.
