About the listing The work
Job Service Polson is the local outpost of Montana’s statewide workforce network, helping Lake County residents find work and helping local employers find people to hire. Staff help with resumes, cover letters, and practice interviews, plus give you a computer to search and apply from if you don’t have one at home.
Beyond the basics, they connect people to apprenticeships (earn a paycheck while you train), work with a veteran employment specialist, and run training programs including ARPA-funded upskilling and HELP-Link for Medicaid recipients pursuing new skills. If you’re filing for unemployment, they can point you to the state portal too.
