Huckleberry Jam Factory

Right where US-93 crests into St. Ignatius, the Huckleberry Jam Factory is a roadside stop built around wild Montana huckleberries and made-to-order food. The kitchen turns out smash burgers with beef from a local ranch, plus bison options, fries, and the huckleberry milkshakes and lemonade that give the place its name. Sweets run to cheesecake and cinnamon rolls, and the namesake huckleberry jam is made on the Flathead Reservation.

It’s an easy pull-off with outdoor seating and takeout. Stop in for a burger and a huckleberry shake, or grab a jar of jam for the road.
