Eagles Acres is a small, woman-owned family farm off Saint Mary’s Lake Road in St. Ignatius, raising livestock the regenerative way. They run pasture-raised chicken and Thanksgiving turkeys, apple-finished pork, grass-finished Highland and Angus beef, and Katahdin lamb, with non-GMO feed and a no-medicate, no-vaccinate approach. There’s raw, unfiltered honey too.
The farm store sells lamb, pork and beef cuts, chickens and turkeys, plus lard-based soaps, cooking lard, driftwood lamps and carved hiking sticks. Fall store hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 to 1, and they’ll open by appointment too. They’re very active on Facebook and Instagram, so that’s the best place to follow along with the farm.
