Blue Goose Aviation flies scenic air tours over Flathead Lake and the Mission Valley from the Polson airport, tracing the Flathead River past the Bison Range, across the Mission Mountains, and out over the water. Tours run aboard a Cessna 182 that seats up to three passengers, with one-hour and hour-and-a-half routes priced per flight rather than per head. The operation also offers professional flight instruction, including mountain and backcountry orientation, led by a retired Air Force pilot who’s been an FAA certified flight instructor since 1982.
