Stipe Charolais & Angus
40 years of Charolais bulls bred for calving ease and carcass quality
About the listing The work
Marv and Chico Stipe have been breeding Charolais cattle on their place outside Charlo for more than 35 years, chasing what they call performance without sacrificing quality or calving ease. Every sire gets proven on yearling heifers before he goes to work, and the goal downstream is a 700-900 pound carcass that grades Choice or better.
The program’s been tested against the industry, not just the neighbors, with entries in the Monfort-Horton sire test and the National Western Stock Show Fed Beef Contest. Their 2026 sale marks 40 years of the annual bull sale.
